Prof. Gabi Barbash, Chairman
Joined 3DV as chairman in 2005. Serves as Director General of the Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. Formerly the Surgeon General of the State of Israel, Prof. Barbash serves on the board of directors of Elron, Clal Bio-technology and Poalim Ventures.
Eitan Bek, Partner, Pitango
Mr. Bek joined Pitango in 2000. Prior to joining Pitango, Eitan worked at Lehman Brothers, where he initiated and managed a special technology project, enabling automation of post-trade processing for institutional investors. He was also a member of the incubator team that established Beautifulisland.Com, an Internet start-up. In the mid-90s, Eitan served as Director of System Specification group at Elbit Systems (NASDAQ: ESLT). In this role, he led development teams and was directly accountable for R & D activities in customer projects, with an aggregate value in excess of $100 million, and was responsible for marketing upgrade suites.
Ami Erel, President and CEO, Discount Investment Corporation
Mr. Erel serves as President and CEO of Discount Investment Corporation since 2001. He serves as a director on Elron's Board of Directors, served as its Chairman from 1999 to January 2007 and as the company's CEO in 1999-2001. Mr. Erel is also Chairman of the Board at Cellcom Israel and NetVision. From 1997 to 1999, Mr. Erel served as President and CEO of Bezeq - The Israel Telecommunications Corporation. As of January 2005, Mr. Erel serves as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Manufacturers Association of Israel.
Avishai Friedman, President & CEO, RDC
Since 2002, Mr. Friedman has been a vibrant force in the RDC group companies, and serves as director of Galil Medical, Starling, 3DV Systems, SELA and Medingo. Prior to his appointment at RDC, Mr. Friedman served as Vice President, Business Development at Elron, as well as director of several companies within the Elron group.
Zvika Klier, CEO
Joined 3DV in 2005. Founder and CEO of GammaSense, developer of nuclear material sensors for homeland security. Prior to that founded interactive distance learning in Arel Communications and Software (NASDAQ:ARLC) where he served as President (1996-2003). Prior to that he developed interactive distance learning and video communications systems.
Ajit Nazre, Partner, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers
Mr. Nazre joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in 2003. Before joining KPCB, he was with SAP for 5 years, where he worked for Dr. Hasso Plattner, CEO, Chairman and co-founder of SAP. Mr. Nazre played a key role in formulating and executing SAP's Internet strategy (mySAP.com). He co-founded and led SAPMarkets, a fully owned company of SAP, focusing on Marketplace applications and technology. In 2002, he laid the foundation for SAP Inspire, SAP's New Venture Unit. Prior to SAP, Mr. Nazre worked for six years in the medical device industry, first at Zimmer, Inc., a division of Bristol Myers and Squibb and then at Mathys AG (Synthes) in Swizterland.
